The Portuguese band joins Pearl Jam, Sum 41, The Breeders, Sofi Tukker, Alec Benjamin, Khruangbin and The Cat Empire on the last day of the festival.<\/p>\n<p>Born in 1995, the iconic Blasted Mechanism are a band currently made up of Valdjiu, Guitshu, Fred Stone, Riic Wolf and Ary. With more than a dozen albums out, they have already won a Golden Globe and received three nominations for MTV Best Portuguese Act. They have played on the biggest stages in Portugal and many others abroad, but they continue the tradition of playing at NOS Alive, having been on the festival stage in 2007, 2012, 2015 and 2018, with a concert that marks the beginning of the preparations for the celebration of Blasted Mechanism&#8217;s 30th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>On May 24, they are preparing to release their rarest album, Balayashi, in digital format.
