Tyla<\/strong>, the GRAMMY-winning global sensation, is the latest confirmation for July 12th<\/a><\/strong><\/span> on the NOS Stage<\/strong> at NOS Alive’24<\/strong>. This is the artist’s debut at the festival, sharing the day with names such as Dua Lipa, Aurora, Floating Points, Gloria Groove, Larkin Poe, Michael Kiwanuka, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, T-Rex and The Heavy.<\/p>\n

Tyla’s music pushes boundaries, with songs that offer a fresh take on pop and R&B, shining with the euphoria of South African amapiano and an otherworldly production that makes them unique. Originally from Johannesburg, the artist rose to international prominence with her debut single “Getting Late” with Kooldrink, whose message in the chorus, “Not gonna waste my time”, took on powerful meaning. Despite initial difficulties, Tyla persevered, releasing new singles such as “Been Thinking” and “To Last” through Epic Records, demonstrating her versatility and moving towards her goals.<\/p>\n
