The Parcels<\/strong> are confirmed for first day<\/strong><\/span><\/a> of NOS Alive’24<\/strong> to perform on the Heineken Stage<\/strong>. The Australian quintet joins Arcade Fire, The Smashing Pumpkins, Benjamin Clementine, Jessie Ware, Black Pumas, Nothing But Thieves, Kenya Grace and Unknown Mortal Orchestra who have already been confirmed for this day.<\/p>\n

Originally formed in Byron Bay, Australia, in 2014, the Parcels are currently based in Berlin, Germany, and the band’s line-up consists of keyboardist Louie Swain, keyboardist\/guitarist Patrick Hetherington, bassist Noah Hill, drummer Anatole “Toto” Serret and guitarist Jules Crommelin.<\/p>\n

The band has released its debut album, Parcels<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/span> in 2018 to critical acclaim, with NME describing it as “cheeky, timeless and incredibly catchy” in its 5-star review. The Parcels’ second studio album,Day\/Night<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/span> is an ambitious work that has been widely praised by the international press, with Rolling Stone UK saying: “a brilliantly realized record, spanning many genres”, or Gigwise, which proclaimed it “a career-defining record”.<\/p>\n

The Parcels are a formidable unit as a live band and completed their biggest tour to date last year, performing at sold-out concerts and festivals around the world, including the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and New York’s SummerStage in Central Park. The band’s most recent UK concerts were hailed as “a skillful demonstration of live mastery” in NME’s 5-star review of their Islington Academy concert, adding: “you simply have to see this band live.”<\/p>\n
